What would be the best choice?

there is this one girl i really like, have crush on. we are in grade 11 and 17. we met each other last year november from work. everything was fine till i found out that i like her. so i got her number and talk to her on text, facebook, and msn and such. and start hang out with her around febuary, go to movie as group for couple times, and then went to movie with her one on one(is that a date??). and she did give me mix signals (or at least me and my friends thought) but i guess i went too strong on her, and was being forward......now she would still talk but wouldnt hang out. everyone says just give some time and after just try it again or just move on. tried to move on, but its just way to hard to let it go without knowing the answer. so should i just suck it up, and work on movin on? or give some time and ask her to hang out? or some says just tell her how i feel about her, and finish it.....which is the best way? and if it is give some time, how long would it be best?? i mean i dont want to let her go....
