Does halo 3 really suck?

I have visited countless forums and found vague points on why halo sucks. Sure its not COD4, where you can shoot thru walls, or gears of war or RSV where there is a intuitive cover system. And yes we all know how repetitive the campaign mode can be in halo games. But what really draws me out to halo is its multi player. The pace is just right for me and i was never the one to stand still and wait for enemies to come to me in video games. What makes the halo franchise great is its multi player where Bungie went back to the basics of what a game should be. The fast easy game play not to complicated and skill to use each weapon. Sure even i know that the weapons are unrealistic like the sniper rifle has no kickback. But it takes time to get skilled using weapons effectively in halo, and that is why people don't like the game. They don't have knowledge of halo's weapons.
