I am going Honolulu this summer and I have booked with?

Outrigger waikiki on the beach. Can anyone tell me if this hotel is cool for a family of 3. Can I go all famous attractions by bus if i stay in this hotel? Any other good suggestions while I am there ie places to eat, what to do etc etc ..tks
